    The expansion is far from over. Both companies confirmed plans to open at least 14 additional Costa Coffee stores inside Sainsbury’s supermarkets during 2026. Several future locations have already been identified, including Rugby, Ely, Rhyl, Cannock, Poole, Swindon, Durham, and Newport.

    Retail experts believe the rollout could eventually expand even further if customer demand continues growing at its current pace. The popularity of coffee culture in Britain remains extremely strong, particularly among younger shoppers and urban consumers who increasingly view cafés as social and work-friendly environments.
